Past Projects

Brighten New Brighton:

We worked in partnership with Wirral council to install a solar powered lighting solution to light up the base of the lighthouse, the system charges a battery bank which in turn powers four LED Floodlights operated on a timer

We also worked in partnership with Hydrosphere to install a flashing LED beacon to replicate the flash pattern that was used when the lighthouse was operational, we installed screening to avoid distracting shipping on the River Mersey.

Replacement of navigational beacons on Crosby beach:

We worked in partnership with Sefton council to replace ageing solar powered flashing beacons which had failed, the beacons are located at the top of perches ranging in height, with most surrounded by deep mud, with the use of wheeled vehicles out of the question we suggested the use of our hovercraft- Thor, which provided a safe and stable platform to carry out the necessary works quickly and safely.
